In Chicago, things do not slow down in the winter. The city is bustling with events for the whole family to enjoy. While most Chicagoans dread the cold and ice, some people embrace it through ice skating at the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink. Attracting more than 100,000 skaters annually, this attraction is a great activity to enjoy during the Chicago winter time. Skating is free; however, skate rentals are available for $10. The ice rink is located on Michigan Avenue between Washington and Madison streets and will be open until Sunday, March 11, 2012. Click here for more information.
